Finally Snow

I was skeptical, but I did indeed wake up to snow this morning. It's not a lot, maybe an inch, and will be gone in a day or so. But for a little while, the ground is white and just as it should be at this time of year. 

The world seems to be a complete sh**show right now, which is nothing new and it's been that way for a year now. I'm trying to remember that God already knows how everything ends, but sometimes it's hard to keep hope, when I want everything right now. :)  I'm trying though.

I made some really excellent chicken and sour cream enchiladas this week and have been keeping low lights and cozy going in the evening. I decided this was the year to finally read the complete Chronicles of Narnia and I'm halfway through. I've got 3 books left and it's been fun and will be nice to get that off the list early. Yep, I think tasty leftovers and a book are on the agenda tonight for sure.
